Conference and Workshop
Liverpool, June 4th - June 7th 2007
The 25th European Conference of
the Society for Environmental Geochemistry and Health (June 4-5), hosted
by the Cheshire & Merseyside Unit of
the Health Protection Agency, will focus on Understanding
environmental contributions to the burden of disease. Deadline
for abstracts is the 20th April.
The subsequent Workshop sessions (June 5-7) will bring together expertise
in Environment and Human Health from medicine and
public health, the natural sciences and the social sciences. There will be a set of five
parallel interdisciplinary workshops aimed at synthesizing
fresh approaches from across these three disciplines, ready to respond to new funding
opportunities.
The conference and workshop are linked by a Field
trip (June 5). Workshop supported by the Joint Environment and Human Health Programme,
funded by: NERC, Defra, EA, MoD, ESRC. |
